HYDERABAD: Results of Eamcet-III for admissions into MBBS and BDS courses in Telangana will be declared at 12 noon on Thursday, convenor of Eamcet-III, N Yadaiah, said.
Initially, authorities had planned to declare results on September 16 and begin web counselling on September 17. Time constraints are believed to be the reason for advancing the result date. The medical common entrance test had seen a significant drop in attendance as a mere 66.25 per cent of candidates, who were issued hall tickets, appeared for the exam.
The web counselling schedule is also expected to be advanced following early results. The total number of MBBS seats in Telangana now stands at 3,350, including 2,350 in private colleges and 1,000 in the six state-run medical colleges.
